Who doesn't long for peace? All of us do.
Although we may try to find peace in our own way because we, "want to do it ourselves," true, lasting peace, that goes deep within our soul, can only come from a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Warren Wiersbe says it best, "There can be no lasting peace without righteousness, and Jesus Christ is our "King of righteousness" and "King of peace." (Hebrews 7:1-3)
"God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21
If you have not trusted in Christ, my prayer for you today is that you open your heart to Him and receive His true, lasting peace. John 1:12; John 16:33
